Our passion is helping operators solve complex, high-stakes challenges. We work alongside your team to uncover what’s limiting performance and implement disciplined systems that deliver measurable, repeatable results.
At Peak Profit Yields, success is measured by the same metrics that matter to you: grams harvested, potency achieved, and profit earned. When you work with us, you gain a relentless problem-solving partner with real-world experience turning adversity into yield.
Tyson Cramer
Founder & CEO, Peak Profit Yields
Tyson Cramer brings more than 20 years of cannabis experience to Peak Profit Yields, a global consulting firm specializing in cannabis yield optimization and business consulting. His cultivation experience began in Humboldt County, Northern California, the quintessential hub of cannabis production that paved the way for legalization globally, where he spent 10 years gaining practical knowledge across outdoor, greenhouse, and indoor production.
After being approached by the Bluhm’s, the founding family of Thrive, Tyson became a co-founder, CTO, and acting COO of Thrive Cannabis (2016–2022). Alongside an incredible team, he helped build the Greybeard brand into one of the most respected and award-winning names in the Canadian market. Tyson was a major contributor to successful cultivation and sales licensing, while also paving the way for industry firsts, earning the first hydrocarbon extraction license, the first farm-gate license and the first outdoor cultivation license in Canada. He played a critical role in designing and engineering facilities, shaping cultivation methodologies, and being a key contributor to major capital raises that fueled the company’s growth.
Following Aurora’s acquisition of Thrive, Tyson served as Vice President and Chief Cultivator of Global Operations (2022–2025), where he was responsible for delivering over 60 metric tons of cannabis annually for GMP-certified markets, managing an additional 30 metric tons of third-party supply, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across all global sites. He provided strategic advisory on large-scale capital projects, standardized cultivation practices across continents, and led critical audits in support of mergers and acquisitions.
Tyson’s expertise extends beyond cultivation into the full spectrum of cannabis operations. He has advised executive teams and boards, optimized post-harvest processes, participated in S&OP planning, and advised on marketing and commercial strategy. Having toured and assessed hundreds of cannabis facilities worldwide, Tyson offers a unique perspective into diverse cultivation methodologies and operational models, including their viability and sustainability for each unique situation.
At his core, Tyson is passionate about problem-solving, optimizing, and helping others succeed. He is known for building strong teams, creating momentum toward shared goals, and tailoring solutions to each client’s realities, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term opportunities for growth. His blend of technical depth and leadership experience makes him a trusted partner for licensed producers seeking to maximize yields, consistency, and profitability in a competitive market.
